Ital Graniti: Automatica

A film documenting Automatica, a series of porcelain-clad vending machines presented by Italgraniti Group in collaboration with Solus Ceramics during Clerkenwell Design Week. The project reimagines the industrial vending machine as a material study, transforming a utilitarian object into a sculptural surface intervention within the public realm.

Process

We approached the installation as a dialogue between precision engineering and architectural surface. Attention was placed on edge detailing, tile alignment and the tactility of porcelain against exposed mechanical form. The edit is paced with restraint, focusing on surface, geometry and public interaction rather than spectacle.
